OUR FAVOURITE SPOTS
FUJAIRAH BEACH
Fujairah Beach, although this spot is one that maybe a little further away and is also a popular spot for many others (we recommend getting early to get your fave spot), we love this spot for its proximity to the ocean. its super soft sand (be careful even in your 4x4) and the community buzz of all the other campers! It is not really required for you to have a 4x4 to camp at this spot either.
RAK
This spot is also a little further away and although doesn't require a 4x4 as such, it is helpful and allows you to be a little more adventurous with your spot, Also as the area is quite large it allows you the freedom to find a spot that you feel most happy with and depending on how busy it is, can maybe feel quite exclusive and isolated. There is fairly good road network which means without a 4x4 it is still possible. (trust us we have tried, maybe a small amount of carrying to your final spot is required)
ALÂ QUDRA
This spot is only around 40 mins from Dubai and has a lot of areas available for camping. Although technically remember that the Al Qudra lakes itself technically does not allow camping to take place on the lakes grounds and if you camp here you maybe asked to leave, which we cannot be responsible for.... But we know some spots that are accessible through Al Qudra lakes but not actually classed as Al Qudra lakes.
